Troubleshooting
Restore your purchase
- Open Sightline.
- Tap Unlock or Pro in the top toolbar on the home screen.
- Tap Restore Purchase.
- Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
- If restore fails, contact support with your Apple ID email (not your password) and the approximate purchase date.
Camera / microphone access
- Open iOS Settings → Sightline → enable Camera and Microphone.
- Force quit and reopen Sightline.
- Restart your iPhone.
- If you denied permission earlier, you must enable it in Settings — the app cannot re-prompt in some cases.
Saving to Photos
- Photos permission is requested only when saving.
- Settings → Sightline → Photos → allow Add Photos or Full Access as needed.
- Ensure there is sufficient storage on your device.
Free vs Pro
- Your first saved recording is free.
- After your first successful save, additional saves require Sightline Pro ($19.99 one-time).
- Preview, script editing, prompt movement, and glow preview remain available before purchase.
