Sightline does not collect your scripts, recordings, or camera content. Purchase status is verified through Apple and RevenueCat.

Overview

Sightline Teleprompter ("Sightline") is a creator camera app for iPhone built by Fierro Innovations. This policy explains what data the app handles and what leaves your device.

Sightline is designed to work without an account. Your scripts and app settings are stored locally on your iPhone.

What we do not collect

Sightline does not upload, store, or receive your scripts, teleprompter text, video recordings, audio, or photos on our servers.

When you save a recording, it goes to your Photos library on your device because you chose to save it. We do not receive a copy.

We do not require your name, email address, or phone number to use the app.

Sightline v1 does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Data stored on your device

Scripts, teleprompter settings, HUD layout, onboarding choices, and free-tier usage flags are saved locally using iOS storage (UserDefaults).

Camera and microphone access are used only to record video while you use the camera screen. Photos permission is requested only when you save a recording.

This on-device data is not transmitted to Fierro Innovations.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Sightline Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. We do not collect or store payment card numbers.

We use RevenueCat to verify purchase status and unlock Pro features. RevenueCat may receive purchase history linked to an anonymous app identifier so your unlock persists across reinstalls when you use Restore Purchase.

App Store privacy label

Apple's App Privacy label for Sightline discloses Purchase History collected by our purchase partner for app functionality and service analytics. It is not linked to your identity and not used for tracking.

Children

Sightline is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Sightline after changes means you accept the updated policy.
